Best of 2007
In April 2007 I accepted a job offer at The Laramie Boomerang in southeastern Wyoming resigning from my position as chief photographer at The Enid News & Eagle, Enid, Okla. Part of my decision to move was due to my mother’s failing health for which I would live just a few hours away from her home in Colorado. The other part of my decision was an excitement to live in this mountain college town with everything it had to offer. I would stay in Laramie for the next five and a half years often thinking about Oklahoma as it was the first place that truly felt like home. I also hold a fondness for Wyoming in it’s natural beauty and wide open spaces as well as covering division I sports at The University of Wyoming and Cheyenne Frontier Days.
